I Love You

A symbol has been added to the Ragpickers Amulet to help convey a meaningful, at-a-glance reminder to the Ragpicker wearing it.

This is the symbol:



The symbol is an abstract of the sign for "I Love You" in American Sign Language.



The "I Love You" sign is a combination of all three letters, "I," "L," and "Y."


The "I Love You" sign has several meanings for the Ragpicker:

First, each finger reminds us of the "The [five] laws of happiness and success" found in Og Mandino's God Memorandum:

1. Count your blessings.
2. Proclaim your rarity.
3. Go another mile.
4. Use wisely your power of choice.
5. And one more, to fulfill the other four. Do all things with love…love for yourself, love for all others…and love for God."
